What I did not previously discuss is the list of Veritas Farms (VFRM) CBD products that these stores are currently offering. Stores like CVS and KR seemed to be only offering topical products and not the consumable products most likely due to the FDA’s path to approval for hemp based products.
Doing some research I was able to find this article from the FDA website, FDA Regulation of Cannabis and Cannabis-Derived Products: Questions and Answers. On this page it states, “the FDA held a public hearing on May 31, 2019, for stakeholders to share their experiences and challenges with products containing cannabis and cannabis-derived compounds. As part of that hearing, FDA opened a docket for the public to submit comments through July 16, 2019″.
Veritas Farms (VFRM) CBD Topical Products
From the VFRM, Veritas Farms website, I was able to locate Full Spectrum CBD Lotion which retails for $49.99. I also found Full Spectrum CBD Salve which retails for $39.99 and Full Spectrum CBD Lip Balm which retails for $3.99. All of which fit the topical product description that CVS and KR say they have on the shelves. I was not able to confirm this information only to speculate as per the VFRM, KR and CVS press releases.
Veritas Farms (VFRM) CBD Consumable Products
It really is a matter of time for these companies to begin offering consumables on the shelves. When they do begin to offer CBD consumables the amount of revenue for all involved may significantly increase based on the number of consumable products alone. Other companies like Arizona Tea, Lagunitas, and Corona have also been aggressively pursuing cannabis products.
Again while browsing through the Veritas Farms (VFRM) website I was able to locate their CBD consumables starting with Full Spectrum CBD Capsules which retails for $29.99. CBD Gummies retail for $34.99 and Full Spectrum CBD Tincture retails for $39.99.
Paving the way for Veritas Farms (VFRM) CBD Consumables
One could speculate that companies like Veritas Farms (VFRM) that already have their topical products in stores, will be the first to get their consumables in the stores. With a current agreement and trust built between the two companies it should be a seamless transition.
