FanCraze, offering cricket NFT collections, is raising a new investment round of $100 million. FanCraze was founded in 2021 and collaborated with International Cricket Council (ICC) to develop cricket collection NFTs using the Flow blockchain. 

The most exciting thing about this round is that Cristiano Ronaldo is among its major supporters. According to various sources, the Series A round is led by Venture capital firms B Capital Group and Insight Partners. Although, the company has not released details about the round. The official announcement is expected to be released in the coming weeks. 

Besides this, Mirae Asset from South Korea also seems interested in the blockchain startup. 

Anshum Bhambri, a Stanford University alumnus, and former investment banker founded FanCraze with two others. According to Dapper Labs, FanCraze has been able to secure seed funding of $17.4 million last year. The former round was led by Tiger Global Management, Coatue, and Sequoia Capital India.

A brief intro of Crictos: 

Critos provide fans with access to historical moments of cricket on the Ethereum blockchain. Crictos are recognized as an exclusive and official range of digital collections at the NFT marketplace of FanCraze. 

Crictos are divided into six various types depending on the rarity. These are labeled as Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Platinum, and Genesis.

Last month, Aaron Finch, Australian Captain and one of the cricket superstars, joined the cricket NFT agreement with Rario. Company declared that Rario is the only NFT marketplace where Aaron’s NFTs will be available, under this collaboration. 

A number of cricket leagues have also partnered with Rario. These partnerships include Legends League Cricket, Caribbean Premier League, Abu Dhabi T10 and Lanka Premier League.

Ratio cards and serial numbers 

Users of The Rario Marketplace can build up their collections of precious cricket moments by trading Rario cards. You can also own the complete set of cards of your favorite players. Rario cards are divided into 4 types: Silver, Gold, Black and unique. 

Talking about the serial numbers, cards have serial numbers that indicate how many times they have been circulated, and moments have serial numbers indicating how often they have been minted.
